Tutorial – How to [show older]/fake “last seen on” in Whatsapp [Hide your online status]

Hey Guys, many of you guys must be familiar with the “blue ticks” update of whatsapp , though its a welcome feature for some,its not too good for others . same is the case with “last seen on” in whatsapp , what if we can simultaneously fake last seen whatsapp/show an older last seen on coupled with an option to see blue ticks of others while at the same time hiding ours , sounds interesting isn’t it ? and its easy too! 🙂 with WhatsApp+ , read on the article for the complete easy tutorial to do the same 🙂

Prerequisites / Requirements –

Messages Backup for use in newer WhatsApp and its quite easy too ( Just Go to Settings – > Chat Settings -> Backup Conversations) and that’s it .

Method / Procedure to Use WhatsApp+

Backup your Conversations by Settings – > Chat Settings -> Backup Conversations) and that’s it .
Uninstall your existing WhatsApp.

While installation, you’ll get an option to restore, don’t worry it may take time for some users depending upon the chat backup) .
Once the installation is finished , Open Whatsapp+ ,To hide last seen and disable blue ticks click on the menu at the right-hand-side top corner and select “Hide last seen” option and yo! (Check the image alongside)
You’re now online in incognito mode in WhatsApp! you can see other’s last seen and chat without the fear of anyone as others will only see the last seen time as the time when you had disabled it in WhatsApp+ 😛 🙂
Do the same menu-step to show/reveal your online status if you want to :).

I’ve myself tested it and using it , hence in the image its showing “show last seen” instead of “hide last seen”

How to convert and install Android apps on ARChon Google Chrome (Browser/Chromebooks)
In my last article I covered the introduction and setup of ARChon Android emulator for Chrome, but it requires a little bit modified Android apps (apks) for running them. So , this article will cover how to convert android Apk apps to compatible Google Chrome apps , before I begin this tutorial for https://techapple.net/2014/09/3-websites-directly-download-apk-google-play-store-pc-mobile-requirement-device-id/ might be handy! So let’s begin..

Pre-requisites :
- Google Chrome OS/Browser with ARChon installed .
- Twerk! Google Chrome extension for converting apps (Click here to Download Extension)
- Internet Connectivity (if required by the app).
Procedure :
- Download the Android apk file of the app you want to run.
- Now, launch the twerk extension ! You will be shown an image as shown –
- Here, simply drag and drop your Apk file which you want to run, the next screen will take you to the app configuration page – here, enter the package name(Google Play Market name (e.g com.paisawiz ) and other , its uniwue for each app . and the App name , you can also select other options such as screensize, orientation etc .
- Once you are done with this click on the pink colored icon at the bottom.
- Now, it will ask you to select directory for saving the unackaged chrome extension , Please select the folder from where you intend to load it (I highly recommend creating a new folder for each unpackaged app).
- Once you are done with unpacking the app into a folder Load the app into extensions as unpacked app in developer mode of Google Chrome and Launch it !! :).
