How to change Android ID,SSN & Device ID on Android Phones

- We will be using 3 apps for this purpose – Xposed Framework , Device ID app (to check whether the changes have been applied to) , and DonkeyGuard app.
- The method we will be discussing changes the Android ID for a particular app only and hence your original IMEI remains intact thus is perfectly legal too 🙂 .
Tutorial on How to Change the Android ID , SSN & Device ID on Android Phones
- First of all root your android phone , and then Install the Xposed framework from the below URL –

  Xposed Framework is a set of exclusive tools which add additional functionalities to Android.
- Now, Once you have Installed Xposed Framework, Open the app if it asks for sudo/su/root permissions tap on Ok to grant it.
  Now, We need to Install/Update the Xposed framework for doing the same Open the Xposed App -> Go to “Framework” -> Tap on Install/Update .
  (As shown in the Figure Below , It may ask you to reboot your phone, allow it to reboot or reboot manually if it doesn’t reboot automatically).

- Coming to the changing Android ID & Device ID first, you might like to have to have a look on the current Parameters, you can see them by Simply downloading the Evozi Device ID app a which can be downloaded from link below –

  Once, you have downloaded the Device ID app, Open it to see the existing values for Android ID, Device ID etc (You can take a screenshot which we will use later to verify, for e.g Check the alongside Screenshot for my existing values before changing the mentioned parameters red box).
- Now, for Changing these values we need DonkeyGuard App, which can be downloaded from the below link –

- Now, before Launching the DonkeyGuard App , We need to activate the DonkeyGuard Module in Xposed App , To do so Open the Xposed App -> Go to “Modules” -> CheckMark the “DonkeyGuard” Module , and reboot phone if prompted.
- Now coming to the Main part , Open the DonkeyGuard App and scroll-down to the app’s for which parameters you wish to change (we will be using the same Device ID app in our example) and now tap on “Settings” option as highlighted in the image below –

  Now, one you tap on Settings , It will be presenting you with the parameters which can be modified, Tap on “Identity” Option .
- In the “Identity” pane you will be able to see the different options which can be edited for the particular app , Simply Tap on the “Pencil” icon to edit the values, for e.g we will be changing the “Android ID” as shown in the below Image –

  You can manually type in Android ID or assigning a Random Android ID , tap on “Random” and then tap on “Save” to Save Changes , Click on the “Save” icon on the top-right-hand side corner to save the Changes. (you can do the same for other options as well).
- Now We will re-open the Device ID app to confirm whether the values have been applied or not , Check the Screenshot below for confirmation –

  Thus, as seen from above we have successfully changed the Android Device ID, SSN successfully! on the Android Device .
Tips for more downloads & Referral app earnings
- Change / give the same Android ID , parameters first for Earning App.

Perform OTP verification on apps which get stuck waiting for verification code/sms [Earn talktime/Magic Recharge]
As, we all know some Android apps require mobile number verification, and they do it by automation i.e by checking the messages directly themselves instead of asking the user to enter the verification code to us. This creates problems on some handsets as the apps simply get stuck on “verifying/waiting for OTP verifcation/password” . Recently, I myself faced such problem with Earn talktime app and Task bucks app stuck on my Xiaomi Redmi 1S. So, i started looking for solutions as i really needed to install the app and couldn’t purchase a new phone for only that thing. here’s what you can do to Perform OTP verification/validation of apps, which get stuck on waiting for verification code/sms.

Method 1 – Disable all 3rd-party apps which use messaging.
- Uninstall any third-party apps which use messaging or which can access your messages – Chat-app on Samsung / Hangouts app by Google. (Check the alongside image on how to disable hang-out to use messaging)
- These read the messages before our desired app can read them, hence the desired app which we are trying to install, cannot read those sms as they are being processed by app / thus causing starvation and inability to verify though the sms is received on our phone.
- Same is the case with black-list/message filtering apps, these also check the sender/message before our desired app to be installed, which again causes starvation to the app which is waiting for OTP verifation.
- Some, 3rd-Party launchers/widgets also interfere with the stock messaging features, hence it is recommended to disable them before we request OTP.
Method 2 – Changing the ROM (Method i followed for my Xiaomi Redmi 1s)
- Though, this requires a little-bit more technical expertise and efforts , but it’s totally worth it!.
- While, in my case i had the launcher (MIUI) built right into my ROM, hence i had no option but to change the ROM itself.
- So, after changing my ROM to Cyanogen Mod 11, I installed earn talktime,magic recharge and both of them got verified in an instant!
- While, changing your ROM , make sure that the custom ROM which you’re going to select for flashing is closest to Stock Android ROM (Cyanogen Mod) in my case.
I bet, you won’t face any problem if you follow these steps – The method 1 worked for my friend with a Samsung Android, while the second one worked for me.

ARChon Android Emulator for Google Chrome OS/Linux/Windows and Mac|Install and Run Android Apps in Chrome

ARChon is the first Android Emulator which is supported on Google Chrome OS! It works on Google Chrome browser too and thus can be used on Windows , Linux as well Mac OS too!! It uses the default Android Runtime Package for running the Android apps however, sooner we expect that Google will officially launch support for Android apps on Chrome! till then, we can use ARChon as it does the job pretty decently .Archon Android emulator will also Run Android Apk in Chrome OS / Chromebooks.

Pre-requisites :

Google Chrome browser with an Internet Connection.
ARChon Runtime Package/Extension installed on Google Chrome .
A Modified .apk Android App package for testing Purpose (e.g we will be using 2048 Game Apk for this purpose , You can download 2048 from here).

Method :

First of all , download the runtime which is appropriate for your system:

Unzip it into a folder ,Now load it as an unpacked extension, as shown in the image below

For loading Unpacked extensions you will need to enable Developer Mode in Google Chrome you can do it by going to Settings – > Extensions -> Check mark the Developer Mode And Select the Folder where you just extracted the Archron Engine. (You can check the screenshots in this post 🙂 )

Once you have loaded the extension , please enable it by checking the Enable option besides the extension name .
Now extract the android Apk package which is converted into Chrome OS compatible into another folder and Load that too as an extension in Google Chrome (You can try with the above linked 2048 Game link).
Once you have loaded the game as an unpacked extension, it too will be shown with other extensions, now simply click on launch as shown in the image below-
Now once you have clicked on Launch Your Desired Android App will be loaded! as shown below – Amazing isn’t it ?

Drawbacks –

The Default Android Apk files do not work directly they need to be converted first into Chrome Compatible Apk’s which you can be created by an app mentioned here.
This is a proof of concept. You can run up to 4 Android applications right now with the regular runtime. Read the multiple apps manual to load more than one application at a time. To load unlimited number of apps read the ARChon runtime guide.

Configuring and using Yosapp too is very easy , simply perform the following steps to Configure and use Yosapp!

6. Now in the next Step, Enter the Six – digit verification number received on your Mobile, and click Next
7. Voila! You are ready to use WhatsApp! on your browser, Simply Add a contact through “Add Contact” icon or through “Settings” icon as shown in below figure and start chatting ! 🙂 [ Check the below figure for all Controls and Options 🙂 ]
8. Note : While adding New Contact, you will see a “CC” option CC stands for Country Code, in that field Enter the Country Code of the Contact
